Founder Bio

Jonathan Lyons advises companies, investors, NGOs, governments, and entrepreneurs tackling the biggest climate challenges. Jonathan has worked at the intersection of business development, customer success, and market strategy for 20 years and is an expert at scaling startups through commercial partnerships. After starting his career in politics and corporate lobbying, he transitioned to Cleantech 1.0 startups and multiple venture-backed enterprise software companies. 

Jonathan holds a MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School where he served as Co-President of the Wharton Energy Club. He also holds a BS in Economics and Politics & Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh where he attended the Honors College and was a Brackenridge Fellow. Jonathan has lived and worked in Washington, DC and Palo Alto, CA, and he now resides in Denver, CO with his family.
